Fundraising Booklet

Can Too is all about encouraging people to set health and fitness goals, as well as a fundraising goal, and then giving them the tools to get there! At the first Wednesday training session you’ll be given a fundraising booklet with lots of tips and advice about fundraising. As well, you will be nominated a mentor who will help you get across the line, both in terms of encouragement and advice in relation to your run, but most importantly in relation to your fundraising.

Although a lot of people are anxious about achieving the fundraising goal (just remember you are doing it for a really good cause, you are not asking for yourself) with the tips and support we give they do achieve it. For example, we have found the backbone of most successful strategies is your personalised email – friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you for the amazing commitment you have made in training for your event. You will be surprised and affirmed by the support you receive.

Can Too commit to offering you an expertly based and structured training program and you commit to raising your fundraising pledge. Your total fundraising must be in the Cure Cancer office one month after your goal event. If we have not received your funds by this time we will need to contact you to make arrangements to finalise your deduct the remainder from your credit card. However, from our experience this occurs in only very rare cases as our people do achieve their goal!!!!!!!! This too is part of the whole Can Too experience. In the event you withdraw halfway through the training program we would expect you to have raised half your money.
